Erotic Fantasy Romance - Ménage and M/M interaction - Short Story

Djarera, the Dragon Queen Melgara's Realm - Present Day

Elara Southerlin is the daughter of the Dragon Queen Melgara. For the first twenty years of her life, Elara lived in the United States and believed herself to be a normal human woman, but that was before her mother sent two powerful male dragons, Rand and Darrek, to tell Elara the truth about who she is. It's a long story and I won't try to tell you all the details here, suffice it to say that Elara, Rand, and Darrek became lovers and are now back where they belong in Djarera. But now another challenge has arisen in the three lovers' lives. Elara is entering khef (the mating frenzy), and an unclaimed female dragon will drive all unattached males into a craze that would surely end in a bloodbath. It's time for Elara to choose between Rand and Darrek. The only problem is, though she loves them both, she's not in love with either. Is there a dragon in existence who can satisfy the desires of her heart and mind?

When Elara escapes from the castle seeking peace from her raging hormones and the two males whom she is driving insane, she makes a perilous mistake that lands her in the clutches of her mother's enemy, Zendar.

Zendar is thrilled that the naïve young daughter of Melgara has so conveniently fallen into his hands. With the khef heavy upon her, all he has to do is keep Elara by his side until the mating frenzy forces her into his arms. Once mated, the throne of Djarera will be his, and Melgara's power will be no more.

Can there be a happy ending for Elara, Rand, and Darrek? What about Zendar? Can his frozen heart be melted by the beautiful Princess Elara?

In DRAGON'S HEIR, Elara faces a choice that many women will understand. Should she follow her heart wherever it leads, or do the safe thing and marry a man whom she loves but isn't in love with? The relationship between Rand and Darrek only complicates matters. How can Elara come between two men she loves but who also love each other? All three will learn lessons of the heart in this installment of the Dragon's Heir series. Zendar is an intriguing man depicted as an enemy; he's cold-hearted and willing to do whatever it takes to attain power. But underneath beats the heart of a man worthy of love. Can he unbend enough to allow Elara to soothe his pain and salvage his soul from the pain and misery it's mired in?

This story primarily centers on Elara, Rand, Darrek, and Zendar. Elara's mother, Queen Melgara, is the only secondary character who plays an important role in their lives. Queen Melgara is in the unenviable position of forcing Elara to face facts and make a choice that's good for both the kingdom and Elara. The queen has a real talent for being both complimentary and confrontational at the same time. This is probably a trait that all great leaders possess (or could use).

Fans of Sierra Dafoe will not be disappointed in the second installment of the Dragon's Heir series. If you're not a fan yet, you certainly will be after you finish THE DRAGON'S HEIR. Stop by Changeling Press and pick up a copy today.
