Present Day

Things have gone steadily downhill for Aziza Lopez since the death of her mother. First, her father starts dating and marries a gold-digging ice queen. Then he dies before his time. Aziza isn't interested in playing her stepmother's games and, consequently, doesn't pay too much attention to Philomena or her snubs. But Philomena's new boyfriend is cut from a different cloth. One Aziza wouldn't mind draping across her bed.

David Healy took one look at Aziza and knew he had found his mate. Unfortunately, there are a couple of unforeseen complications he'll have to take care of before he can make her his.

Sassy and sizzling from the get-go, NINE INCHES OF SNOW AND THE EBONY PRINCESS is an entertaining tale, although I have to say that the meaning behind the title still escapes me. Aziza and David are both engaging characters who practically jump from the pages. However, it's David's ornery grandfather who just about steals the show. Toss in a bit of a mystery to add to the romance and you have a short and sweet pick-me-up to begin or end the day with.
