Land's End station - The future

Carmela de Monsalve is presently the pilot of the ship Femme Metal and acts as liaison between arms dealers and their clients.  A battle with some fierce Yithian warriors got her a prime Yithian, seven-feet of hunky blue alien presently being kept in her cargo hold.  For some reason Carmela is in a constant state of arousal just thinking of him.  But unfortunately Setesh, a Yithian Hunter, gets free and Carmela ends up leaving him on a deserted planet after an astounding sexual connection between them.  However, Carmela leaves Setesh some equipment so he isn't stranded forever.

Setesh follows Carmela to Land's End to find out what is between them, and oh, to show that a Yithian Hunter is never bested by a woman.  But other people are trying to kill Carmela and danger is ahead for both of them.

Can two very different people have a future together?  What do Setesh's mood stones mean when they glow around Carmela?
